Concert Notes

× “Charles Yang plays classical violin with the charisma of a rock star.” - The Boston Globe

Demand for Charles Yang performances have skyrocketed since he joined the incredibly popular cross-over group “Time for Three” in 2016. From performances in Carnegie Hall and at festivals all over the world to symphony halls and the Metropolitan Opera House, Yang’s breathtaking technique is at home in all the classics and cross-over works from Michael Jackson to Frank Sinatra.

Yang’s performance with Hector Guzman and the Plano Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, January 16 at 8 pm in the Eisemann Center will feature the amazing violinist in works by Ravel, Piazzolla, F. Mercury/Queen, Lennon/McCartney, and more. The Plano Symphony Orchestra will be heard in three of Dvořák’s popular “Slavonic Dances” and three “Hungarian Dances” by Brahms.

This is a performance not to be missed!
